Diversity, Equity and Inclusion - Microaggression
This module is designed to foster workplace inclusivity to empower learners in recognizing and addressing microaggressions effectively. One standout feature is the incorporation of a sorting activity, providing a unique and engaging approach to identify various types of aggression. The positive feedback from the team underscores the success of this initiative, confirming its impact in creating a memorable and inclusive learning environment.Using Rise allowed me to create an engaging and interactive course, providing employees with the flexibility to learn at their own pace, resulting in higher retention rates. Its self-paced and mobile-friendly design makes it a popular choice among learners.
Managing Complaints
This module provides detailed information on the reporting requirements for complaints in long-term care (LTC) facilities. It aims to assist nurses in identifying, addressing, and resolving complaints effectively while ensuring compliance with reporting standards and regulations.tandards.
I used Articulate Storyline, which offers the opportunity to add scenarios and knowledge tests. The scenarios help the staff make their own decisions on how to effectively manage complaints.
Safe Lifting Mechanics
This self-paced eLearning course focuses on OSHA's four stages of safe lifting, emphasizing proper ergonomics and the use of lifting assistance. The goal is to reduce injuries, improve productivity, and promote a safer work environment. Upon completion, employees will understand the risks of improper lifting, identify the "Power Zone," and execute safe lifting practices effectively.Articulate was the ideal authoring tool for crafting this interactive module, complemented by assets from Vyond and Canva. With its user-friendly interface and versatile design options, Articulate allowed for seamless integration of hotspots, enhancing interactivity. The combination of these tools facilitated the creation of an engaging learning experience.
Gamification Modules
Identifying WHMIS Pictograms
Engage in a dynamic and interactive flip card game to master the recognition of the 10 WHMIS pictograms. Participants have three chances to match all pictograms correctly to win. This game sharpens your safety skills by reinforcing your ability to quickly identify hazardous material symbols.I used Articulate to develop this module, incorporating layers and triggers to create a quick challenge for users to access on their phones or laptops. There is no score recorder for this module, as the main goal is to encourage users to learn about the WHMIS pictograms.
Marketing Tools
In this project, I've created an interactive Jeopardy game that invites you to delve into the marketing world. The game features four distinct categories with multiple-choice options, you can challenge yourself across four levels of increasing difficulty. This engaging game tests your marketing knowledge and provides an entertaining way to showcase your expertise.For the development of this project, I utilized Articulate Storyline—a versatile e-learning authoring tool. Its capabilities allowed me to design a seamless and interactive user experience, combining educational content with interactive elements. Through this project, I aimed to demonstrate my understanding of marketing concepts and showcase my proficiency in leveraging modern tools for engaging content creation.

In this module, become a Coughing Superhero! Uncover the symptoms of influenza, master preventive measures, and embrace self-care practices. Learn the superhero moves of proper coughing etiquette to halt the spread of germs. Gear up and empower yourself to create a healthier and safer environment!To create this module I have used Vyond and Canva. Vyond's versitality, combined with Canva's user-friendly design tools, worked in harmony to bring ideas to life, enhancing the learning experience. The dynamic content not only engaged viewers effectively but also made a lasting impact, ensuring the clear and effective delivery of the intended message.

Canva's user-friendly interface made the whole process easy, allowing me to customize the course to match the organization's branding and style, giving it a professional look.
